Mari (Agnieszka) Evenson is a third-generation artist and adventurous traveler. Her mother, Maria Teresa Hopkins, is a recognized artist and storyteller in Victoria, Canada, and her maternal grandfather, Jozef Olszewski, was a famous oil painting artist in Poland. Mari finds herself in beautiful Costa Grande, Mexico, exploring her artistic side among the native artisans. She has showcased her works in art shows in Vancouver and Calgary, Canada, and has been painting since her teenage years. Over time, she has also honed her graphic design and logo design skills. Mari serves as the Artist in Residence and a teacher for live student support sessions on her website.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Mari works as a senior copywriter, email deliverability, and marketing strategist. She is also a psychosomatic therapist and occasionally teaches courses on self-reliance and accountability. Since 2019, Mari has been collaborating with Beebly’s (formerly Watercolor University), where she enjoys encouraging others to explore the soothing and relaxing art of painting.
